1. Introduction

The privacy and security of your information is important to us. This notice explains who we are, the types of information we hold, how we use it, who we share it with and how long we keep it. Ignite Experiences Ltd is the Data Controller of the information we collect about you. 3. What is personal data and what information do we collect?

Ignite Experiences Ltd complies with it's obligations under the GDPR by keeping personal data up to date: by storing and destroying it securely, by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate security measures are in place to protect personal data. We use your personal data for the following purposes:

b) To maintain our own accounts and records

c) To send necessary event information

 

4. How do we collect information?

Ignite Experiences Ltd processes your personal information to provide you with our products and services. We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and we do not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this notice. The personal data that we collect from you includes: First and last name, Email, Phone number, Address and company name.

The information we collect about you comes from:

a) Information you have given to us during the course of your bookings with us.

b) Forms you have completed and given to us.

c) Information that you have given us over the telephone.

d) Emails that you have sent to us.

e) Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website. We may keep a record of that correspondence and your contact details. We may use these contact details in order to contact you in the future.

f) Information that we have obtained from publicly available sources.

g) Cookies and similar technologies: We track your use of our website through cookies and other similar technologies so that we can provide important features and functionality on our website, monitor its usage, and provide you with a more personalised experienced. h) Details of your visits to our website including, but not limited to, the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages.

i) Technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type and version, operating system and platform.

 

5. Why is the data held?

a) To assess and provide the products or services that you have requested.

b) To communicate with you.

c) To market our products or services. For the purposes of our legitimate interests as a business, we may collect and use your personal data for direct marketing. This is in order to provide you with products and services that are as useful and beneficial to your business as possible.

d) Conduct automated decision-making and profiling. We use technology which tracks your use of our website, products and services to help us build a profile of your preferences. What this means for you is that you are more likely to receive direct marketing and promotional offers that are tailored to your specific preferences, based on your previous activity. It also means that we don’t send the same offers to all of our customers, so you may not be made the same offers as another customer. You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing (where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; to exercise your data portability rights, and to be informed about any automated decision making we may use.

 

If we receive a request from you to exercise any of the above rights, we will ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request; this is to ensure that your data is protected and kept secure.
